Like me you may be an avid fan of googles webmail GMail. However your probably still having to check your hotmail indox (if you have one) and this is just becoming annoying.
I was doing a bit of research today on this matter and my prayers have been answered by Javed Mandary on his blog http://javedmandary.blogspot.com/.
I recommend you visit his blog here:
http://javedmandary.blogspot.com/2007/03/reading-your-hotmail-email-directly.html
Where he has a step-by-step guide to doing this, I will warn you though you do have to use another web service to bridge the gap between getting hotmail to GMail, but the service does not read your mail and can't.
This guide is so easy to follow and will take you a couple of minutes, and what I really like it that you can send messages back using your hotmail address instead of your GMail address.
The only reason I had ever made a Hotmail was back when I thought you had to have a "*@hotmail.com" to use MSN. Little did I know, I didn't have to! So I've been using my GMail account since.
