i knew waiting to buy a ds would pay off, nintendo always does the same thing. now im totally gonna get a ds lite (when it comes out) to play metroid prime hunters and resident evil online :P
oh ok, well im not much of a fan for the DS but i guess smaller is better in this case. But if i was going to get a handheld gmaing thing id get a PSP.
Yeah but you'd look a little funny walking around with a desktop strapped to your back. The whole point is portability. And in that department, the PSP wins hands down. It's like having a PS2 in the palm of your hand.
Desktop graphics are stellar, but hey, you've got to leave it at home unless you've got a laptop, and most laptops can't offer the power of a desktop. Enter the PSP. A true handheld portable power game system. The graphics are amazing considering it's small size, and to someone who's about to spend over 15 hours on an international flight, that's important.
Oh, and the Nintendo DS looks like some weird hybrid monstrosity. I played with one in a store not too long ago and I wasn't impressed at all.

then where are the good games? atleast most of the games that have come out for the ds are actually playable, maybe the ds's gfx arent up to the psp standards but at least the ds doesnt bring along long a$$ load screens from the console world.

true still not good enough for the money when caompared to desktop GFX i mean im not donplaying the psp or ds its just not for me
A desktop graphics card for 250$ will get you just a 6800GS. Considering also for 250$, you cannot even get a desktop that is anywhere near the performance of a PSP. PSP plays DVD's, music, games, has wireless WiFi internet, web browser, and more for 250$, while for 250$, you might have yourself a GeForce 2 w/ an Athlon XP2000+....

acctualy the PSP's loading screens are very brief in about 97% of its games and it can have music and dvds and pictures and stuff like that.
