I've bought a domain name and lots of webspace. I've designed a website. Now I'm searching for a programmer to implement it. It's a simple site in HTML and has not more than 10 pages, some of which include audio. I want someone reliable, dynamic, with own ideas. This is paid work, with the fee to be discussed with the right person.

If you are interested, please send a short blurb about yourself to me at

You might find a programmer, or the correct term Web Developer, here.

What are you looking for?
Do you need a one off job, or are you filling a permanent post. If a permanent post, It might be worth advertising in some web development related publications.

If, as I suspect, you need a developer for a one off job, you need a freelancer. Many are in India and do a good job, but if you are not confident, there are many in the UK, US and all around the world. You find them on sites like "Get a Freelancer" and "Get a Coder". These sites allow you to join free, and open a project; with description, time-scale, budget, skills/technologies involved and any other comments. Freelancers then bid on your project along with a message; and you choose a freelancer when the bidding period that you specify id over.

These sites are very easily to use, and you can even use their in built escrow services. This means you pay "Get a Freelancer" or an equivalent site (make sure they are secure and a reputable site, or use one of the two I mention here), and then they pay the freelancer once you you are happy the job has been completed. You can pay very easily with PayPal or any bank account/debit/credit card. These services usually cost about £3, so It really is worth it.

It has many advantages over organising things privately; they can't rip you off, money is handled efficiently and securely, money is agreed beforehand, and with the rating system, although It is up to the project provider (you) to choose the freelancer, it makes it easier to choose. You can contact via email, the PM system, or any other Instant messenger if the freelancer has one, after they have won the project, and you can cancel projects at any time, and lose no money. Try the system out, and just see who bids and how much; whatever the outcome, as long as you don't choose a provider, you pay nothing

You then leave the freelancer a comment and rating; and you can see every other freelancers ratings and comments to make your decision whilst choosing a freelancer that has bid on your project, too.

Two sites Id recommend you choose, and that I use:
