It's starting to look like you won't get it too bad, at least definitely not straight on. Also, by the time it gets to Dallas, it will probably be a much smaller storm. I'm expecting we're going to be getting some effects of it, where I live. Yeah, I live in Michigan, but if you look at this map of the famous (or infamous) hurricane of 1900, it goes right through just a tiny bit south of where I live (I live on the west side of Michigan, right about in the center of the coastline). And, Rita is looking to be just like the hurricane of 1900.
