How to mode the NV5 for Nvidia 6800 GT,U,UE and ATI X50xt,X850XT PE

1. use 2 of the brass mother board posts for mounting the mother board to case. drill 2 small holes and twist them in from top to bottom over the NV5 fan.

2. useing a 80mm fan and 2 2 inch screws mought the fan over the NV5 fan. The brass mother board mounts will keep it 1/4 inch off the NV5 fan.

Gain in cooling is around 5c to 15c exstra.

remeber when installing the NV5 to use the heat tape on the ram that came with the stock cooler and artic silver 5 on the core.

Remeber the copper core must sit flat on all the core.

6800GT is well worth the money, and you can overclock it past Ultra speeds.

I love modding... it's one of the greatest things about computers from my view.
Sadly it would seem most people are too scared to mod or overclock, and some that do fail to realise the whole point of it and buy kits to do it,
theres nothing wrong with that to make things look nice.. but if you want to really get down and dirty, then you should do almost everything, if not everything yourself.
