The UK is paying tribute to the victims of the 7 July London attacks, one year after suicide bombers killed 52 people and injured nearly 800.
Today's events marking the 7/7 bombings will end with a ceremony in Regent's Park at 6pm.
Candles were lit at 10 minutes to 9 at the time the bombs were let off.
Cathedral bells have tolled, flowers have been laid near the blast scenes and at noon the country fell silent for two minutes to remember the victims.
The Regent's Park service, starting at 1800 BST, will include readings and songs dedicated to those who died in the attacks on three underground trains and a bus.
Members of the public have been laying flowers within a mosaic in Queen Mary's Gardens in the park and can continue to do so until 1600 BST.
There has been a high-visibility police presence on the transport network during the day to reassure the public.

On Thursday, a video of one of the bombers, Shehzad Tanweer, was aired on al-Jazeera television. It showed the 22-year-old, from Leeds, warning of further attacks.
If you did not observe 2 minutes silence today at 12pm, or you maybe did not hear about it; please take a couple of minutes to remember those who died on that day.
Well that was kinda a rude comment. anyhow How was I supposed to know? Im not the most imformed considering we don't have the best news stations in this state.

I have heard that from many Americans; maybe as opposed to stereotyping them, we should consider maybe the news is biased or full of propaganda.
Thank you everyone for paying your respect to the victims of the bombings.
American news is rather biased, I must say. Read my post in the Lebanon-Israel thing on Fox news. The best news channel/station - indeed, one of the oldest (I think...) is the BBC. They are far more professional, do not use stupid graphics/animations/music, and give you the facts as they are - they don't put any opinion in.
