those martial arts are very different.

Tai Chi and Kung Fu focus more on controlling and harnessing inner energy. The japanese arts dont focus on this as much.

Japanese arts are pretty crappy to be fair.

Only ones i respect are Kendo and ninjitsu.

Chinese, GungFu, Kung Fu, wushu is the best to learn me thinks, Body, mind & spirit.

I'm not a big martial arts expert. I used to a style of karate called Kyokushinkaikan, but no one else has heard of it except Wikipedia apparently.

Got me a black belt too, though to be honest I really don't think I did enough.

I currently am a 3rd Gup in ITF Taekwon-Do and I think Taekwon-Do has some of the most effective techniques on power according to the First volume of the Encyclopedia of Taekwon-Do by Gen. Choi Hong Hi. One of my friends was studying Judo and we wanted to do some grappling and he tried to throw me and he could'nt because of the static stability of the L Stance and he could'ent throw me until i let him by putting me feet together toching aginst him. I belive in a combination of good stances, centerline balance and footwork. I have also studied some Wing Chun and practice on a Wing Chun Dummy, Studied some Hwa Rang Do, read some MACV-SOG vietnam commando books, Budo-Taijutsu, and finally not really a martial art but I practice Chi-Kung regularly.

I also place emphasis on the tenants of Taekwon-Do which are
1.Courtesy
2.Integrity
3.Perserverance
4.Self Control
5.Indomitable Spirit
The rest of all the Martial Arts are just because it is an unkind world. Through Martial Arts you define who you are, learn who you are, and they can develop self-mastery if you choose.

I used to do Capoeira which is a Brazillian Martial Art.  Very acrobatic stuff indeed.  BUT I haven't done it, well not full blast anyways, for over 5 years.  If I do half of the things I did back then I'd become an invalid

Dim Mak is from China. Kyusho-jitsu is from Japan. Though they are similar they come from different countries. You can tell just by the way you pronounce them. Let alone a simple Google serch.
