Play games where you get to shoot things and they blow up. Its so satfisfying watching things blowing up. Like especcially Unreal Tournament 2004 thats a good stress reliever. Other than that usually just read or sit quietly practicing deep brathing and breath control.
lol... I've never thought of blowing stuff up being relaxing

btw, I forgot to add to my list - I like to work out, and play basketball when I get the chance.

Casual activities in General Discussion, including Off Topic, Current Affairs
(other then being on my comp)
I like to play my electric guitar, and I also do like books (in the rare case that I have time to read one).
Let's see.... I like hanging out with friends - going out to movies, and just hanging around.
I also love magazines, because I do have time to read short articles on stuff.  I have subscriptions to ESPN, Popular Science, Popular Photography, Sports Spectrum, and Maximum PC.

Democrats take control of Senate and House in General Discussion, including Off Topic, Current Affairs
Yes and No.
Although they have the house and the Senate, they don't have the presidency.  And they don't have the 2/3 majority that is needed to overturn a veto (I'm pretty sure that it's 2/3, I may be wrong).
So basically, this is going to turn into a couple years of basically nothing getting done.

Also, it's unfortunate how people voted.  In my state (michigan), the unemployment is tied for the worst in the country (7.1%), yet the people decided that the governor we have is doing a fine job... just doesn't make sense.  We're going to have to pay for that mistake.  Unless there are huge changes, I can't see it being any different.  Hopefully by the next election, people will see how bad our governor is.

Comparing Apples to Oranges? in General Discussion, including Off Topic, Current Affairs
I picked apples, but only because that's all that I usually have.
My parent's stomachs can't handle the acid in orange juice, so I usually just have apple (or, my mom's home-canned grape juice... good stuff).

But orange juice is good, too.

Anyway, I don't know if Predator would like my solution, so I'll PM it to you instead...

Thanks, let me know if you didn't get my reply... PM system has been acting up a little for me... or maybe I just need to get used to the new system.

Do you guys write in cursive? in General Discussion, including Off Topic, Current Affairs
For most things, I write in a hybrid cursive-print.  Mix of speed and readability.
But when I'm handwriting letters (like a thank-you-note, or something like that), I write cursive.

If there's a good pen, I'll use that (one that bleeds ink nicely, usually not ball point) but if not, I'll take a pencil.

When I click one of the videos, Opera asks me if I want to Open it as a new file or Save it to Disk.

And when you click Save it to Disk, it saves a 13KB shockwave file, right?

How to extract video from webpage in Entertainment, Film and Music, Mobile devices and media
Try clicking one of the videos - and then see if you can see the page source.
For example, if you click on http://tvlinks.voodeedoo.org/go.php?t...qr  you can't access the page source (at least with both FF and IE you can't).

I'm not sure, you might want the link removed... I'm not totally sure on the legality of it.

How to extract video from webpage in Entertainment, Film and Music, Mobile devices and media
nope.
it saves it as a shockwave flash object - only like 13KBs, and made up of scrambled code.
