First complex planned for 76,000 sq ft Dubai Mall
Sega and Dubai properties firm Emaar plan to open a number of indoor theme parks across the Middle East and North Africa.
The parks will be developed in Emaar's shopping malls, with thefirst outlet planned for The Dubai Mall, a split-level 76,000 squarefoot complex in Downtown Burj Dubai.
The complex will be based on Sega's Joypolis centres in Japan andfeature an indoor roller-coaster, simulators and arcade machines.

The Dubai Mall already boasts a children's area, cineplex,Olympic-size ice rink and access to Burj Dubai, the tallest man-madestructure in the world.

The Dubai Mall is set to open in late 2008, with Emaar Malls currently developing the Cairo Gate outlet in Egypt.
