CRT.

May I ask, why you choose a CRT?

Oh, and I found an old pic of my current monitor : acer_monitor.jpg
Take note that the keyboard underneath is my OLD keyboard which sucks :P

Uh, your link goes to http://www.100webspace.com/... :pinch:

To your question: As of now, most CRT's have faster response times than LCD's. Sure LCD's are lighter and look \"cooler,\" but I rarely attend LAN parties so I am fine with a CRT. Now, there is an LCD out with the fastest response time ever: 4ms from ViewSonic. I wouldn't mind that, but it is quite expensive.

i disagree. From what i have seen a good LCD will put out every bit the speed and quality as a CRT.

*Some* LCD's can outperform CRT's, since NOW, LCD technology has advanced.

TFT gets my vote... but here's the graph:
....... 1%-^-98% 99% 100%
CRT: ----------------------
TFT-: -----------------------

I cant wait for the new OLCD (organic LCD) or LED screens to come out.  The LED screens should have all of the greatness of a CRT, minus the size, power consumption, flickering, and weight.

You mean that with LCD's, don't you?

A \"run-of-the-mill\" LCD costs ~200$.

Good point, but there is a difference in \"Just Advanced\" & already perfected. The CRT is perfected, or almost perfected. You will get the best image quality with a CRT if you require quick frame rates.

But the LCD, TFT & some others coming out are dominating hands down.
