Currently, the main TFT/LCD faster than a CRT is the ViewSonic VX924 with 4ms response time. Of course, you're paying a hefty price tag of 419$.

What are your reasons for preferring LCD over CRT? I mean, you own a 22\" CRT monitor.

CRT.  It has better clarity.  I've worked with both.  LCD might get close to the quality of CRT, but you have to get a really good one, that costs alot of moola.  Pretty much any CRT is good quality.
