What did we say?
Along with iPhone Battery Problems and
iPhone - many flaws and issues? Apple forums show.
I came across this recent iPhone article on Digg.

Here it is on duggmirror.

Here are some quotes

Quote:
You've probably never heard of the E70 because Nokia's marketing team is busy finding every last dick in the universe to suck, so I'm going to do their job for them and tell you about this product. And no, I'm not being paid to do this. I'm just tired of the iPhone fanboys shooting huge sticky wads and high-fiving each other (literally) over their stupid cellphones.

First of all, the E70 has a full keyboard, not some shitty stripped down, tap-and-pray smudgy piece of shit. Nokia uses a technology that's even more advanced than the iPhone's tap screen, allowing you to actually feel the keys you press as you're pressing them! The technology is called "tactile response," and it allows you to do things like dial a phone number without staring at your screen like a shit-chucking ape. In fact, every other cellphone ever made has this technology, sometimes called "buttons."

Some criticism of apples core marketing strategy
Quote:
It's not three devices in one any more than my laptop is you morons. Using Jobs' loose definition of what constitutes a separate device, technically my laptop can be considered 8 devices in one:

A clock
A calculator
An "Internet communications device"
A phone (I can make voice calls with my modem)
A pornographic media storage device
A video player
A word processor
And an "iPod" (see below)

And a lovely table...

There you have it: the most objective comparison of two cellphones ever made. I think I'll take the rest of the afternoon off and copy and paste text on my cellphone because I can.

1,276 people who bought an iPhone hadn't heard of the Nokia E70 until now because Nokia's marketing team is too busy tossing salad to get the word out.

So, what do you think?

Nokia E70 - $399.95 - Everythingcellphones.net
Nokia E70 - $345.00 - 1ShopMobile.com
Nokia E70 - $363.00 - eCRATER.com

The current price is set at $599 for 8gb and $499 for the 4 gb version ...

I think I'm going to buy Nokia E70 instead of the iPhone because it is not only better but cheaper too.

iPhone beats the crap out of any phone. The safari browser is awesome. Sure it is a bit sluggish over EDGE. Instant message you can get third party still have yet to test. Keyboard, takes a bit getting used to but works better in horizontal than vertical. The graphics are great on it. I have heard that calls cannot be heard very well by the friend that owns it. Yet it is very simple to use and it is great.

I bought one for my GF and it's a nice phone.  There's an update that was made available a couple of days ago in case you haven't synced up to itunes lately.
