Bah, I have to wait until my local University gets Vista on their MSDNAA program before I can buy an official copy.

Last game I bought was Company of Heros... it's a great RTS game, but Relic is still having issues quashing some of the multiplayer bugs. Graphics are pretty nice for an RTS whether you zoom in to watch a solider, or are watching the entire battlefield.

Last game I bought was World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade.

Can't remember the last bit of software I paid for though, so easy to find free alternatives on the net.

Places that cater to students sell the Academic (Upgrade) of Home Premium version for $70-$80 online with free shipping. To buy you need proof of enrollment though or something, I've not given it a try myself as I want to see what edition my Univeristy will be offering for less.
