Yeah, like what the heck were they thinking when they decided to do that? I can understand two or three, but seven? And three of them being some variation of the Home edition?
I saw this earlier, but was too lazy to post it. I wonder what the prices are going to be for each...
I've heard that the Home Basic one will be fairly cheap. I can't remember if I heard $49 or 99. It's probably $99. But, I don't know what the other ones will cost. I think if I was going to buy it, I'd get the Premium Home edition, or maybe Ultimate.

KoolDrew posted a topic saying Microsoft was going to sell this real cheap to reduce software piracy. Yeah right. ;)
Just like every other news story they probably did not have the full story. The real basic versions will probably be real cheap, but with the lack of functionality it definitely won't effect piracy in any way, as I said before.
Actually, this is a good idea. You can save money if your one of the people who only uses the computer to check your email and such. If your a hardcore computer user, then you pay the regular price.
Well, I hope it does. Just imagine what it'll be like, with requirements like that. Plus, the hardware industry wil Love Microsoft if there are huge requirements.
