Nice! A refractor, I see. How do you like it? I haven't been able to see anything with mine, yet. There hasn't been ANY break in the clouds for almost a month now :(
Ditto, hardly any stars, havn't seen the moon in ages either.
Well, tonight is new moon, so we wouldn't be able to see it anyways, but it will be really cool when i can see Jupiter and the Great Red Spot, and some of it's moons. btw, mine is a Newtonian, 150MM diameter (6\"), 1400MM focal point, I have a 25MM and a 10MM lens for it, with a 2X Barlow, not sure on the brand of it, though.

It came the closest this year at the end of October. I really hope the skies clear, because it's getting pretty close to being out of sight. A couple years ago (I'm pretty sure it was two), Mars came closer than it will for like thousands of years, but the best I thing I had for viewing it was a camcorder <_< .
iPod Nano 4GB, Half Life 2 with CS: S, DVD-RW Drive, 25 DVD+Rs, pro grade dynamic microphone, wireless desktop set, labtec ultra-flat keyboard, Tenacious D album, ticket to the Eagles concert here in Ireland (in May 2006) and some other small stuff like deodorant (is that a hint? :/), aftershave and all that kinda stuff.
