It came the closest this year at the end of October. I really hope the skies clear, because it's getting pretty close to being out of sight. A couple years ago (I'm pretty sure it was two), Mars came closer than it will for like thousands of years, but the best I thing I had for viewing it was a camcorder
where i live in the morning i can see venus under the moon and sometime i sit on the roof of my house and uhh star gaze i guess. and ya know its AMAZING how small we are in the universe were like a grain of sand from all the sand in the world and the probability of us being the only life in the universe is like a 200 acre wheat feid and were the only grain

yeah, wish I could just sit on my roof and look up. But, I don't think it'd be a good idea - 2 story, and very steep slope. But anyways, it is amazing to see all the stars and think about how very few we are actually seeing, compared to how many there are.
