I downloaded the mail desktop beta previously ,and its beautiful and friendly interface attracted me and the day before yesterday, I downloaded it on my office computer. When I finished the installation  process ,it download the all the email from my inbox like previously,it's normal.but when I deleted some personal messages in the inbox of " MB" ,I find all of those deleted messages had been deleted from my live mail .I wouldn't intend to delete them from my live mail of
I thought those messages would be left in the inbox even though I deleted them in the desktop mail Beta.I mean I did the same action previously at home, but the mistake that happened did not occur. Can you help me  get back those lost messages? tthere is around 190.
They're really very important to me.Thank you very much. Additionally, the function of spell checking isnt available sometimes in the desktop email beta

well dude, you usually should'nt download and try a beta unless you are sure it will run.

EG: get ifno off people before you try them, i got IE7 as soon as it was released in beta and i had to reformat my whole pc because of it editing all my settings lol.

Do you run a backup utility? I would not recommend using Beta products for mission critical uses, It is probably because there is an option

I use IE7 all the time now, and it is very reliable, and Live Messenger, however, Desktop Live mail is not released to the public, so you may have got a non-publc leak; I tried a version I found that was leaked and it wouldnt link to my Live account, however, it did work for normal mail. I would recomment Outlook in Offcie 2007 Beta if you want to use new features, In Outlook 2007 beta, all the features work well, it is a little slow, but it is alot better than live desktop, and it does not have ads, and has many more features. Live mail desktop is really pointless at the moment, as it just allows invited users to use their Live Mail accounts on the desktop, which is really useful, but not when you cant use it, as you cant get much more that what you can get from Outlook Express or Windows mail on Vista without the Live mail functionality, and also you get the ads

Did you manage to get a Live Mail account linked? And were you invited officially or not?

I would recommend a backup utility, and if you are using POP3, access from a webmail POP3 or Outlook Express to see all of the email again, if they have not been deleted off the server. If you have not got a backup utility, and they have been deleted off the server contact your mail server or ISP and they may have a home backup with your emails in it from the last week or two.

Finally, you could try the system cache, through Google Desktop Search if you have it, or just temporary files.

If you were using Live Mail which I doubt unless you were invited, you could login to the web based version or check deleted items, but I dont think microsoft keeps backups on Live mail.

thank you for your suggestions.I think I will make a backup for my computer. But ,I still feel that the desktop live mail has a nice and friendship interface what I cant get from the other email service port.So I still very interested in the Desktop mail.and by the way,I think the Mozilla Thunderbird is better than outlook express in the function of speed for sending .javascript:emoticon('')
Very Happy

I don't use beta anything in general. Im sad to say there is probably no way to get your emails back unless they saved somewhere.
