Hey, I don't think he lies at all. Though I do agree that he likes Intel alot more than AMD. The funny thing is that he admit that Intel CPU's are not the greatest designed CPU's, and that the Athlon 64's are better, but he does not like AMD's advertizing.
Well, I don't like Intels advertizing, because they make it sound like there CPU's are the only CPU's which are 100% compatible to todays programs & software & hardware etc.
Like I said before, Intel Ruled in 2003, but now they seem to be slipping away & now to catch up they are making low quality CPU's fast just to keep up with AMD's high quality CPUs'
Doom 3, Counterstrike: Source, Halo, Star Wars Battlefront, Battlefield Vietnam, Unreal Tournament 2004, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, The Sims 2, Far Cry & Warcraft III Real World Benchmarks... http://anandtech.com/cpuchipsets/showdoc.aspx?i=2275&p=10
The Athlon 64 3000+ 90nm S 939 w/ the 6600GT is a great combo. You will have amazing gaming performance. Make sure you pick up the 90nm Socket 939 with a PCI-Express 16x NVIDIA nForce 4 Ultra mobo.
Clearly AMD will be the king once again in 2005. why there Hyper transport tech. is going to out perform Hyper threading and with the new dual core CPU's it is going to be amazzing !! :shocking: by by Intell!!

Well, AMD's Hyper Transport Technology is different than Intel's Hyper Threading, so we can't really compare the two technologies.
Intel's HT is integrated into there chip, like an add on where as AMD's HTT is part of it's core design.
AMD's HTT is a high speed point to point link interface where as Intel's HT is a multimedia integration which can process 2 threads of info instead of one. But can also reduce system performance if there isn't programs writen to take advantage of it.
But by seeing the early releases of Intel's & AMD's dual core offerings, I would place my money on the AMD due to Intel's problematic FSB.
