The project has been a long time in gestation. It was first planned back in 2003, with EastEndersstar Shaun Williamson signed up to play chauffeur Dickie Ticker. Hepulled out in 2004 after producer James Black was replaced, and theproduction schedule knocked back.
Now, though, a final script with a "fun storyline" has been signedoff, according to the spokeswoman, and the merriment can commence.
The makers are hoping to get Carry On London into cinemas by the end of this year to coincide with the 50th Carry On anniversary, although this is dependant on when production actually starts.
