It looks like Google might be making their own OS, based on GNU/LINUX. story  here

Those screenshots of the Google OS look a bit too Google-ish. :P

I hope they make a better GUI.

Google is starting to scare me, they are way to much like MS.  A little different, but still very much alike.

Everything of Googles appears very professional and uncartoonish unlike that GUI.

I don't think so.  Google is sometimes a bit secretive.  And I could understand that they would be for something like this.

Yeah, most likely they would try to keep it secret, so other companies won't have any time to retaliate with anything else before it is released.

I wouldn't just say that its a fake and end the discussion.. Google work on many projects simultaneously, and even video.google.com and Gmail are still said to be in development stages. Check out GoogleLabs, they have way more stuff in development posted there too.

well it could just be in a development stage, when your working on an os you dont have time to work on pretty little buttons when your doing programming you do the pretty stuff after. this is getting like crazyness the google stock is like $400!! CRAZY
