it is very hideous. But i doubt google would do that, i think theyd follow there design scheme
i think there will be a google os, its been a long time coming, and i know for fact they have the resources to do it, its not a matter of whether or not its a matter of time. i dont think itll be too long before we see google OS hitting the shelves.
and google teaming up with wal-mart. this is too much  i dont like wal-mart. they've done some pretty bad stuff to community's marching in knocking out all other businesses marching out leaving that town with nothing.
I agree. Walmart Kills. I think Google has been making some poor decisions recently, to go with 'cheap' companies, like AOL, and now Walmart.
I am all for a google OS, mayby for once put microsoft in its place, and make them realize they are not the best. But google is going to have to work hard for it
I really quite admire Microsoft. People root for the little guy... until he's successful and becomes the big guy. That's what's happened to Microsoft, Dell, Intel, a LOT of big corporations that seem to have a lot of baseless hatred directed towards them.
Bill Gates saw the Apple LISA OS and thought he could do better. Apparently, he did. Michael Saul Dell took apart and put back together an Apple II Personal Computer just to see if he could, and then he started his computer business by building them out of his college dorm room. And the Intel 4004 was designed by seven guys, some bar napkins, and a few trips to the local electronics store. It's funny, people cheered at them for taking on the \"big bad corporations\" of the time, insinuating that people wanted them to be successful, Now that they have been, they aren't cheered at so much as they're chided at.
As such, I'm hard-pressed to go with any Google OS whatsoever. They've matured from the cool, suave, sleek, \"new thing\" into another gargantuan company whose initial supersuccess is beginning to wane. It's a gargantuan company whose nonexistant operating system has yet to prove itself as Windows XP has to me.
What a joke. Google will probally skip a few corners and have way less compatibality and useage than XP / Vista - it will be used even less with the release of that.
Everyone on the planet knows about Windows' holes and security breaches, so I think they'll work that much harder to make sure whatever they put out is top notch.
Remember, the whole point of putting an OS out for Google would be to nab customers from Microsoft. Compared to MS, a small percentage used alternate OSes. That being the case, they'll have to try and make any OS they throw out better than anything MS has. I'm sure they'll capitalize on stability and security.
But we're falling left of center, we don't even know if they're really doing this or not.
