Electronic Arts has launched a teaser site for the upcoming The Sims 3.Unfortunately, the site gives absolutely no information about the gameother then the fact that we can expect more information on March 19.There aren't even any images, except for a giant green Simscrystal with a tiny 3 beside it. The game had previously been announcedas a fiscal 2009 release, meaning that we could see it by April of nextyear.
The original, core game of The Sims 2was an extremely addicting experience, before it was bogged down in amyriad of expansion packs. But with Will Wright hard at work on Spore,we have to wonder what kind of direction this sequel will end up goingin. Hopefully the news to come on the 19th will quell our anxiety.Either that or we can just play Spore instead.
It's nice to have such a win-win situation.
