A PowerPC G5 Dual Core 2GB Ram on the RAID Drives 2x250GB on OSX 10.4 Tiger
And a 2nd Gen Power PC G4 (Blue) on Panther OSX 10.3

Want a Mac Book Pro, but I will have to get the Intel Based Equivalent od My G5, although The PowerPC Processors run much faster. (Especially in Adobe Creative Suite, thew Power PC's run 100x Faster!!)

I was looking to buy a macbook, but I headr of macbooks overheating, and spec for money isnt as good as windows equivalents; Im tempted by the Lenovo IBM Thinkpad's build quality, or a good Business Dell.

Although IBM are pricy, for the spec, there are great deals on them, and they have unmatched build quality and all of the extras like security, and titaniam roll cages or what have you   , my point is, the IBM ThinkPad is universally seen as the best build quality , and in my opinion they certainly are unmatched

Nice to see another mac user however

Looks like Apple didn't learn anything from all the user's complaints about the Macbook Pros. The Macbooks STILL overheat due to bad thermal paste applied

Quote:
After some people posted pictures of a disassembeled Macbook with too much thermal paste, here's a link to pictures from the official Apple service manual, STILL WITH TOO MUCH THERMAL PASTE APPLIED:

http://forums.macnn.com/showthread.php?t=295925

And now for the fun part: Check out the review below. The reviewer tried to heat things up on his macbook to check tempartures. THE COMPUTER FROZE WITH KERNEL PANIC. He could not reboot the computer UNTIL HE PLACED THE MACBOOK FOR 5 MINUTES ABOVE AN AIR CONDITIONER!
