Well In recent surveys...It have been discovered that the most video game player are young adults...this means they want games that have content for their age..sony and microsoft have focused games on their consoles by doing games suituable for young adults...Instead Nintendo have only focused on Kids and have even changed their aspects of their games...so the game focuses more on kids(Zelda the wind walker)....The other thing is that nintendo did the gamecube without any other ad on (no dvd playback, music play back etc) and uses a mini dvd-r that prevents games from be pirated (that takes lots of sales in poor countries...but thats another thing)....My friend has a ps2 and xbox and no game cube....only my friends with younger brothers own game cube..that explains a lot.Now nintendo has always good sales with it portable consoles(game boy color, advance,sp) the controls were simple and the cosole was worth it(yea I dont care much about playing a kids game in the aiport while I way 3 hours for the plane to come)..The screen was easy to understand and the game boys where small enough for not to be a bother....Now they introduce the nintendo sp... wou I though \"I have to buy this...It has all this sort of capabilites...\" two screens...Wireless comunications...pictochat..etc...well before I was goin to buy it I though about playing it...\"the controls were so difficult..and the character was so difficult to control..although the wireless comunications rocked(althoutgh we already have this in the gameboy advance) and Ive heard some friends told me that this the ds is so fragile and one of my friends sp touchable screen was ruined...I dont think Im goin to buy that...and Im sure if nintendo keeps doin complicated consoles(sp) or consoles focused just in kids(game cube) Im not buying nintendo..............so who else thinks nintendo is not as powerfull as before and if it keeps goin at this pace is destined to die!!!!!!!!!! :ph43r:
Do u ACTUALLY own a nintendo console?!?! If u dont check the reasons y u dont..then u will understand..ask people..people these days dont buy nintendo game cubes or ds..so if nintendo keeps goin as this pace is destined to die!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :ph43r: ..only a restructuration of nintendo priorities will save it
I'm not sure how the Nintendo Game Cube is doing, but I'll tell you that the Nintendo DS sold out everywhere in Canada, USA, UK and all of Europe. There factories apparently went dry of the stuff.
And there were back orders which can fill a football field 50 feet high. This is a Solid Fact, because they announced it on 680 & 640 News Canada.
Well thats good news...but still nintendo needs to get back with a very new gaming console...and sell as much as it did with nintendo ds...I hope this happens
I think Nintendo is concentrating a lot on there DS for now. This is most likely a fad, but I do have to admit that Nintendo is the only company which was successful with Hand Held Gaming machines.
I do have to agree that only children use the Nintendo Game Cube. I think Nintendo was targeting a younger age group for some apparent reason.
There DS though is a different story. They must have had this little portable gaming monster in mind @ the creation of the Came Cube.
Right now, IMO the PC comes first in Performance & Graphics. With a PC there is no limit to how good the game can look. With an Xbox or SP2 the game will always look the same, because it has too.
