cabling in Hardware, Internet, Networking, Comms and Security

Can any one out there please tell me where i can get a cat 7 network cable from and if it is any different from the standard cat 5.

I read that for gigabit 1000 lan cards you should use this cable and it significantly helps speed on high speed adsl conections.

help me cos i realy havent got a clue on this. :guh:

you guys into networking? here's a recrui in Hardware, Internet, Networking, Comms and Security
in regards to the netgear not conecting to the net yes you may find that the fire wall seting may slow down the conection but they will not stop a conection unless you spesify it.

also with the netgear routers you normly have to go in to the address setings to specify wht you want to allow to conect on the ports and what you dont.#

allso if the setting is not set corctly for EEEPA  or  EEEPE this to will stop the conection.

also with wireles if it is 54mg conection transmition and you have the 8011.2 wep setings on the conection will be unsuported by the the resever and the conection will be active but not at the spped set by yore isp and thus the conection will not conect.

PC's are still expensive. in General Discussion, including Off Topic, Current Affairs
i agree with super the xp 3000 64 is a very good gaming chip and the 64 bit tec defenetly helps.

however the 3200 xp 64 bit is much better and is only a fue pound more  :D
