Although Nintendo has said that the DS won't replace the gameboy what do you think will happen with Nintendo and the Handheld market? The last few times ive checked the nintendo site http://www.nintendo.com there has been no word or news on a new gameboy. Nintendo seems to be pretty silent on that front. I guess another big question we should ask is how long will the nintendo DS hold up? Nintendo not to long ago came out with the DS Lite witch like the SP is a little redesign change of the previous product. Nintendo has been pretty busy getting ready for the WII launch later this month and I guess only time will tell what will become of the good old GBA and DS.

I think the DS is the new nintendo flagship handheld; and I think people are looking for more in a handheld console than what the GBA concept offers... thats what Nintendo have always been about... ahead of the game innovation, just like when the GBA came out they were ahead of the game...

ah yes I have to agree. The DS has become the ultimate nintendo handheld witch often makes me wonder if there is ever going to be anything by nintendo better then it. I guess only nintendo knows what its going to do next. I suppose it will be a few years after the wii before  we hear anything new and exciting from that front.
