I've never tried ME, but Longhorn, I have tried one of the builds, and let me put it frank, it was literally crawling with bugs. (But, I used it before Beta 1 came out, so improvements might have followed)

Take windows 95, and add many MORE bugs, add better support for internet and networking (allowing TONS of holes and such things), and slow it down by running tons of non-functional processes. I have messed with serveral ME computers, and never want to touch another.l

Any Alpha product is going to be a bunch of junk. Try out Vista Beta 2. I think you'll like it much better.
ME is the worst! I had it for a year or so. :( It got a virus, and that's when I bought XP. That was the WORST! I was always getting Alexa and Gator on that sucker. XP is WAY better than ME.
Windows ME by far. I have used it on my Aunt's computer, and its basically like Windows 98 but with 10 times the flaws. Windows ME is so horrible it even got on C|NET's Top 10 Worst Products Ever list.
95 with ease, I used to have it way back when I was 3, well I didn't, but my dad did, he had it until I was 7, actually, he still has it in his room for no reason, anywho, he was complaining like crazy over how often it broke down.
Easily 98, i mean they skrewed it up so bad they needed a re-release, even at a investors expo for microsoft bill gates managed to get The BSOD, and when i installed it, after about 5 mins of installing programs (no internet) the thing crashed and i lost EVERYTHING
...where's the option for Mac OS X? Each and every Windows OS I've used has run exellently, so I have a hard time picking any of the given options as the \"worst overall operating system\" as the title conveys.
I had Windows ME on my \"first\" computer, my Pentium III 866 MHz Dell Dimension with 512 MB PC133 SDRAM and a GeForce 4 MX 440. Ran just fine. I had Windows 95 on my old Pentium 166 MHz Gateway 2000 with 32 MB of RAM, and an S3 Virge... it ran just fine.
About the only operating system that I ever, truly, downright hated wias Mac OS X, 10.2+ (Jaguar). Thing was retarded, and it's what made me hate Macs and their usebase for conniving, retarded idiocy claiming OS X is the best thing since sliced bread. OS X sucks.
