Pc, without a doubt. You can never get a 'pc 2' if you take me meaning. You only have to look at the short life span of console's to realise that value for money ain't that great. It was only 10 years ago we were entertaining Sega, and since then you have Playstation 1, 2, & 3, Game cube, Nintendo, Wii, gameboy, gameboy colour, gameboy adavace, PSP, X box, and X box 360. And yet the PC lives on. As long as you know how to tear it apart and put new graphics cards/ drives etc in the pc is always going to reign supreme.
I am undecided here.
not between the X-Box 360 & PC, but between consoles in general and the PC. I would never get a 360 because i dont like the look of it, and it just seems to have a certain 'wtf' factor about it. Consoles in general are good for the 2-player stuff and the graphics are usualy better, unless you have some kind of super, megatron 100000 delux PCHWIRJR system (which, you may notice, I just made up, celver eh?).
I got SW: Battlefront 2 on PS2 and now do wish I has it on PC so I coud play it online, but then again, If I had it on PC, I wouldn't be able to have the 2-playerness of the console.
And in response to Zippy's PC2 thing, how much does it cost to keep upgrading the video card, sound card and RAM? I bought 512 meg RAM for a computer a couple of months ago and It was in the region of £50. It is alright saying that now it will have dropped alot in price but the games that are coming out now need at least 1gig.
Cossacks II came out a couple of years ago, and that needed 1gig RAM to play it, and no one had that then, so no one played it, and no one really plays it now. Pluss it looks a bit rubbish compared to the first one, which is one of the best RTS games OF all time.
it just seems to have a certain 'wtf' factor about it.
Well put lol.
However, the point I was making about uprading is that i's cheaper, if you time it correctly, than having to buy a new console merely because the games are now obsolete. Who still makes playstation one games afterall??
I bought my graphics card for £80, and it can run any game that's out atm. compare that to the price of, for argument's sake the £280 x box 360 available from argos.
