i got a pocketpc with 12gb (8gb CF and 4gb SD) and it has wifi ,outlook, IE, office, msn, windows media and the whole lot cost me less than £400

What make and model is that? I have got all that, just only a 2GB SD card, though it does have the CF card as well. I will get more memory for films, songs, programs and stuff...

I have the HP IPAQ HX2495.

Zune will only be a fair product if someone crack its music sharing service.
Be able to wireless transfer music on the streets (even if it's speed is low) is something really great. But if someone crack iPhone too, a GSM phone with mp3 and Bluetooth is much better than only Zune's music sharing service...
Not to even mention iPod's usability!

Really, mate, don't go for the ipod for it's battery!! It really sucks. They don't last as long as they say it does, and after a 1 to 2 years, it will go dead, but you can't change it, and would have to have Apple to refurbish it, which costs as much as a new one...

If you want good battery, go with Sony.

I'm sorry people but Microsoft could never make a product I would be willing to buy.
