im runing mine at 410 core and 1.12 ram it matches most 6800 ultra benchmarks

The 6800 ultra exstreme with 450 MHz core and 1.12 ram looks good but ATI makes a much better card for lots less.

Other than the X850, the 6800 Ultra has to be the best of the bunch.

I just ordered my card and it should arrive soon, cant wait. But i'm not sure whether I should call it a 6800 GT or a 6800 Ultra. This is the one I ordered:

Gainward PowerPack! Ultra/2400 TV-DVI-DVI Golden Sample GLH

it's a 6800 GT clocked at 400MHz clock and 1200MHz memory. (better than a 6800 Ultra). so what do you call it?

And the 6850U [2] in SLI will kill ALL!

Yes, I'm sure it will, but the ATI Radeon X800 XL will sell 1000 X more cards than the NVidia GeForce 6850 Ultra cards. The Price/Performance of the X 800 XL so far \"CANNOT\" be matched.

I rarely see anyone with an X800XL.

Nvidia just released a new core for the GT and ultra. I was lucky enouf to get my hands on a new gigabyte 6800 GT with the new core. way more stable with crazy power. was able to over clock to 450 Mhz core and 1.16 ram with more overclocking headroom. Matching the 6800 ultra exstreme that sales for $800.00.

With my old PNY 6800 GT it would run at 72c to 78c all the time. The new card runs 50c to 52c tops @ 450 Mhz core. stock temps where 36c to 48c range.

One other thing they changed was the cards bios

Well, here is a good site where it shows that the X800 XL   is the Top Card for Price/Performance.

I really like what ATI is doing with there new cards. Let's Talk Technology  ;)

R520 has Ultra threading dispatch processor
http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=26618

Quote:
ATI actually has four quad pixel Shader cores. This means that four Pixel Shader cores can process four pixels each. When you do the maths, you will get sixteen as a final number of pixels that the R520 can process per clock.

Cool Ey B)
