Gigabyte's dual 6600GT, but it's only one card. Works only with Gigabyte's SLI motherboard, but looks pretty cool.

The new dule cards are coming out quick. some are already out. MSI,gigabyte, asus, already have PCI-E boards out that will run 2 GPU,s or with one PCI-E slot that will run a dule card.

That's a little high in price, but cheaper than buying 2 seperate 6800GT's. What's the point with SLI if we only need one card.

there intent was to save case space and save watts being used by the PSU. 2 cards was kinda a waste. but 2 cores on one card now that rocks.

Multitasking will become higher in popularity right after all CPU's become Dual Core.

Duel core is for gaming,  Sounds like its intent was for gaming. But i think it will help speed up the harder tasks that tax the CPU by opening up the windows for more processes.

Right.
Games which would probably benefit from Multi-Threading would be games like DOOM 3, FarCry & Half-Life 2 style games.
