On Macs it sets itself as Default browser, and it looks horrible... Opera is great, and if your on a Mac Safari, and I have no real problem with Microsoft, and IE 7 has tabbed browsing
Did you read the article?
I once thought it was a myth but lately I have become MUCH more comfortable with firefox, and i don't know if it was just the contents of the windows but in task manager found that IE averages between 30-40 MB of RAM whereas firefox is about 16-18(on the times I've checked). When I'm multitasking(sometimes I will have 10 or more windows of varying things open) it is smoother to have firefox. Plus I use a plugin called FireFTP which runs through firefox for a site I administrate.
I love the Firefox Developers toobar and plugins, you can validate pages, check JavaScript, CSS, check screen resolutions, show information on page elements and change things in forms.
You can validate a page by right-clicking in Opera, and my default browser is Opera, its the best browser out there www.opera.com just try it!.
I use firefox because i got so bored of looking at internet explorer. ive been using internet explorer for something like 8 years now and every version looks the same - ive had IE on 4 different OSs (from 95 to XP) and it hasn't changed a bit!
I know what you mean, tabbed browsing is just invaluable to me, with Safari, Opera and Firefox with Tabbed Browsing, I couldn't "Browse" without it! However the New IE7 is excellent, with a great tabbing system, I actually used IE more now and it has better support for CSS finally.
hmm well I only use Internet Explorer to launch my download accelerator (Download Accelerator Plus - which is not bad) through, because i havent downloded Internet Explorer 7. Arent you a fan of Mac, Sam? I thought Mac users were supposed to rebel against convention and use Firefox and Opera instead of Microsoft products....

LOL!
Yeh both me and Sam love apple macs they are great machines, but come on I'd rather use a product that works (IE 7) than use one which does not, myself and sam although not keen on Microsoft and some of their software however we know that Microsoft makes some good(ish) products which do work(somtimes). Oh and yeh the old Microsoft - Apple war still rages on but come on with Microsoft with somthing like 99.9% of the market they obviously did somthing right, anyway if it was the other way around and Apple was bigger everyone would hate Steve Jobs and lick Bill Gates arse, its a way of life.
