These games are but a few of so many coming out. I mean they look so graphics intensive that I would like to ask a question, does your system have what it takes to run these types of games on quality settings they are 100% meant to be played on? And that is MAXED OUT EYE CANDY
I think my system should be alright, for now that is. I mean, I can always give my system a boost with a Crossfire setup And maybe another 2GB of DDR or so.
I don't care. My computer is good enough to play the games I want to play. When those games come out, and if my computer can't handle it, I will upgrade if it seems worth it.
Right now, however, my only running computers will NOT handle it.
Games like Half-Life 2 & Far Cry 32/64-bit are genius designed, look the best & you can play them with very nice settings even on the most modest system right?
Now, that said, if game developers take there head out of there butt & start developing games like Half-Life 2 & Far Cry for the future, that would be amazing & will save us money.
But games like F.E.A.R is a fun game to play, but just programmed badly IMO.
Oblivion runs quite nice on my system, using 1200 x 1024 res w/ Maxed out eye candy & HDR. It runs smooth, with the odd hick-up. Though I've read that a Dual Core Athlon 64 would help with that.
So, I should get my X2 4400+ @ 2.20 GHz w/ 2MB L2 in 2 days of so :D
Now Titan Quest demands a lot from your system, more then Oblivion I would say. I am playing it right now, with the same 1200 x 1024 & completely maxed out quality. The game stutters @ times, so Dual Core should once again help with that I hope.
