It came today and I'm so happy. The thing is amazing compared to my crappy desktop (this thing has more than double the specs). I really like how everything is customized like the manual and the system information document. I'll get some pictures up later.
The only thing I can complain about is the touchpad as I bump it alot with my hand when I'm typing and it gets annoying. I'll be buying a wireless mouse and keyboard anyway.
I have Windows Firewall Set up and don't know what to do for anitivirus. I swear there was a Windows anitvirus that came on the computer.

Nothing beats Avast! in terms of free anti-virus solutions.
I thought you said AntiVir was the best free AV?
I changed my mind :D
I never really gave Avast! a chance. I used it once before and hated the UI. Now that I have actually used it, I think it is a lot better. You can actually change skins and use none at all. One thing I really like is the updater. I hated AntiVirs updater. Also, Avast is essentially \"install & forget\". It costs nothing, it updates itself (program and definitions), With all of that going for it, I see no reason not to use Avast.
The only time I even notice it is running is when there is the occasional notice that tells me that a new definition is installed and that everything is perfectly fine. Just as it should be!
I'm downloading Avast right now. I have the laptop on the lowest volume setting possible and it sounds like it's on the highest setting. Good thing I got that headset or I'd never be able to play late at night when everyone's asleep.
I'm going to get my camera right now.
Should I leave the VDRB thing on? Just wondering.

Sounds awesome. My friend has a Dell gaming laptop (not sure of the model), but he got about $1000 dollars taken off the price when he got it. Its pretty cool.
When you run your benchmarking score, it is better to shut off most 3rd party services, as they slow down your computer. Further, benchmarks really do not mean much. Play a game and record your FPS. Then, we can judge if your system is good or not.

Yea, today I'll be getting Counter-Strike and World of Warcraft (I finally can meet the system requirements to play at mid-low settings!!) and I'll post what it normally is at.
