The reason I got my BlackBerry was so that I could surf the net and receive emails.
Now I know what your going to say "Mobile internet is rubbish - and too some extent I agree with you, see here.
However with improvements to Opera's new 'mini'browser for mobile phones the browser allows you to see the wholewebsite in the way it should be and not the mobilized version this isexactly what you get with the Apple iPhone's in-built browser Safari. You can see a video of iPhone Vs Opera Mini 4 Beta here, it's quite funny actually and yes this browser is absolutely free.
What surprised me was the fact that web pages such as bbc.co.uk take a relatively short time to download - even faster on an EDGE network.
Opera Mini 4 Beta is available on a variety of phones you can download it here, make sure your phone is compatible here and watch the tutorials here. Oh and check out the neat simulator here.
