I have all these systems with games.

Sega Master System - 10 games
Sega Genesis - 25 games
Sega CD - 10 games
Sega 32X - 5 games
Sega Saturn - 15 games
Sega DreamCast - 23 games

Can you guess which system is my favorite?

Like AMD, Sega had many firsts. Like the first based CD gaming system, the first 4MB & 8MB gaming cartridges, the first with 3D Games with the use of cool 3D glasses, the first Dual 32-Bit CPU's built (Lack of multithread support in games at that time killed off the Sega 32X. Too bad though, this little system was amazing.)
Etc. Too many to list.

The Cool thing about Sega was the 100% FACT that when Sega came out with the Sega Genesis which made them successful, all they had in there mind was to build a future proof gaming platform. Which they did, Read on,

Sega developed the \"POWER BASE CONVERTER\" Pure genius of a design, which hooked up to the Sega Genesis & allowed you to play Sega Master System Games.
Sega also designed the Sega CD which again hooked up to your Sega Genesis which allowed you to play Sega CD games. (I remember the music & sound effects were amazing for that time). Sega didn't stop there, they also designed the first 32-Bit gaming platform called 32X (had two 32-Bit CPU's) which also connected to the Sega Genesis which gave you the ability to play 32-Bit games supported for 32X.

So to recap on all that writing above, the Sega Genesis I would say in my opinion is the only Gaming Console which was fully upgradeable & future proof than anything to ever hit the market.

Power Base Converter (play Master System Games on Genesis)
Sega CD (play CD games on Genesis)
32X (play 32-Bit supported games on the Genesis)

Cool eY,

If you have anything to add here, then feel free.

Take Care,
