I have a 5GB Creative Zen Micro that I've had since June of last year. To date, it has fallen out of my pocket while cutting the grass on a riding lawn mower and I ran it over (with the tires, not the blades), it has fallen out of a slowly moving car onto concrete, I've stepped on it, dropped it and literally beat the crap out of it and it still works great.
Pop music sucks so hardcore, it's rated XXX. In other words, radio music. I miss this one rock station we had here in Miami. Played awesome rock (Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Nirvana) which happen too be my three favorite. Then that stupid f**kin beaner regaton got popular and replaced the station! God dang anyone who listens to that bulls**t. Daddy Yankee sucks. Anyway, Colt 45 by Afroman is a funny song. Anyway, I don't listen to him. Call me whitey, rock culture. Yes, Eminem has horrible songs these days. The Marijuana killed him. As for Snoop Dogg, consider him dead.
I like rap music, back when it was good. Before it turned into the crappy \"Hip-POP\" that is constantly played on the radio and on TV today. I liked rap back when it was all about creative rhymes, knowledge, messages, having fun and the desire to convey skill, before image and money becaome more important than making good music. Today it seems like anybody with fat pockets and club-friendly production can go multi-platinum regardless of talent. I truly hate rap music today. Probably because I am so passionate about the rap music I do like.
Some of my favorite albums are the following (only listing one per artist/group):
Nas - Illmatic AZ - Doe or Die A Tribe Called Quest - Midnight Marauders Fugees - The Score Wu-Tang Clan - Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) Dr. Dre - The Chronic GZA - Liquid Swords Common - Resurrection OutKast - Aquemini Snoop Dogg - Doggystyle Ice Cube - AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted Notorious B.I.G. - Ready to Die 2Pac - Me Against the World Blackstar - Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star Mos Def - Black On Both Sides The Roots - Illadelph Halflife Eric B. & Rakim - Let The Rhythm Hit 'Em Slick Rick - The Great Adventures Of Slick Rick Run DMC - Raising Hell Public Enemy - It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back De La Soul - De La Soul Is Dead Mobb Deep - The Infamous Dead Prez - Lets Get Free Big Pun - Capitable Punishment
I own about 800+ rap albums and I know I'm forgetting tons, but just to give you a good idea of what I like. My favorite album of all time is probably Illmatic. It never gets old.
No Eminem or Afroman? Shame...
Eminem was better in his first lp. butt Like that and Lose it were failures.
OK anyway, Led Zeppelin (ownz0rz) Nirvana (Kurt Cobain is Legendary) Metallica (Numba 1)
I like Halo 1 better. It was a much better storyline, and the campaign is longer. Plus on the PC, you can also have great online play. Halo 2- Ok storyline, and it's really short. The online play is awesome though. But I'm not spending $50 or w/e a year for that.
Weapons- I'm not sure which I like better. On Halo they're a lot skinnier so that took some getting used to. I liked the new pistol and the SMG over the asault rifle.
Other stuff- Even Master Cheif is skinnier on Halo 2, wtf?! That was gay lol. And when he jumps you can see his feet. >_>. Graphics wise, yeah Halo 2's is better duh.
H1 gameplay on XBOX sucked entirely. It's horribly overated. I know, my tastes changed alot as I was away from here :P
Personally, I like Halo 1 much better. The campaign was more entertaining, with a better storyline. The physics are much more fun. And the weapon selection made for a better multiplayer experiance. Of course Halo 2 on Xbox Live is awesome, and dual-wielding is a pretty cool option, but I don't think that Halo 2 has the same flare as the origional.
Nuh Uh.
Halo 1 was a very great release, and Halo 2 was an overated one, yet overated doesn't mean not fun.
Halo 2 was far better than Halo 1 because it had more features... I like the 1st one because it's for PC, and on PC it ownz, on xbox halo 1 is the lamest s**t known to humanity. I got tired of the Halo series like 5 months ago and realized both games show great potential but people who hail it and say \"Halo is teh best evar\" clearly never played any REAL FPS.
Let's face it, H2 had better graphics, weapons, models, vehicles, engine, funner glitches and online gaming w/ voice communication with up to 16 players, better gameplay and better campaign.
Halo generally never had a great story, so I don't care if \"zomg but h1 had a better storee1!1one!1\" The books were good though, but I'm talking about the game, not the books.
Now, Halo: Combat Evolved has the PC alternative/expansion. The PC expansion is definetely the best even better than H2. I like it more because it's PC, better graphics on my computers, better and more comfortable controls for me, expanded weapons and vehicles on MP, MP with up to 16 people, anti-cheat, great Lan Game, good campaign and more maps and the ability to download maps if you get the expansion OF Halo PC.
Now, what makes Halo series fun is that it's a very unrealistic game. Better for the peps who are sick of CoD, CS, BF2 (BattleField 2, not BattleFront), Rainbow Six, etc. Basicly, leave halo for the noob society. I am quite the noob, seeing how I don't do so well on CZ. Well, my skill progressed a bit :)
