Ok, fair enough... but why are messages that I know have been read by the reciever been deleted from my sent box? These are messages that at one time were in the sent box... but have disappeared.
I seem to be having a tons of issues with the PM system. ALL of the PMs I have previously sent are DELETED from the Sent Box... and now when I send a new PM, it stays in the outbox and never moves to the Sent Box.
Jason Whitener and I arrived at approximately 3 p.m. CDT (Oct 26) at the Knox St. Dallas Apple to cover the Leopard Launch.
We set up the computers/cam equipment and we ready to go.
We went inside, looked aroudn a bit, and inquired about photgraphy policies inside the store and then immediately went back outside to begin our wait.
We got spots 3 and 4 in line and began meeting some very interesting people. #1 and #2 in line came together and #1 was actually a PC user just waiting for the heck of it (and the t-shirt of course). Later a guy on a segway that worked for Current Energy drove by, gave us some free t-shirts, and even let #1 try the segway out.
We set up our system and began streaming the event via Ustream.tv.
And later started doing the obligatory interviews.
A guy stopped by (who had received his copy in the mail earlier that day) to show off his copy of Leopard and discuss his likes and dislikes.
While waiting, it became apparent that almost everyone had an iPhone... even the people that were just passing by.
The line grew...
and grew...
and grew some more...
Anticipation also grew...
and reports started trickling in from people on the net that were already installing their copies they received in the mail...
6 o'clock rolled around and with a grand applause from the Apple employees, we received our T-shirts and copies of Leopard, said goodbye to the people we met and line...
and journeyed to the nearest Apple store...to wait in line yet again, for another free t-shirt.
Do you have a dashboard widget that you can not live without? Post here. Mine personally are the Gmail and Twitter widgets, as well as the iStat Pro widget.
Does anyone have any experience with Undercover for Mac? I'm thinking about buying it as it seems to be a great solution for recovering your mac after a theft. I already use iAlertU... it's a great preventative measure... as well.
