Read this article and look at the benchmarks.

http://www.hardwareanalysis.com/content/article/1813/

The 7800GT/GTX is able to outperform the X1800XT in almost every game, and in the ones where the X1800XT prevails, the 7800GTX's in SLI outperform that.

Hopefully, R520 in AMR will provide much more performance. I think we are all looking forward towards that.

Well what can i say My X1800XT 512 out performed 2 7800 GT OC in SLI 492 1.22 in every game . FPS and quality where no match. 2 7800 GTX in SLI would be fun to compare to. But for a single slot option this cards got some balls.

If you want to see facts on the balls the X1800XT has. Go here.

As you can see I made this card look dang good.

Here are some benchmarks to have fun with

3dmark03

750 Mhz memory 1800 mhz

all stock cooling

3dmark05 10,740 -

core 750 Mhz Memory 1800 Mhz

temps holding 32c idol 47c max load on the X1800XT 512

100% stock air cooling

looks purity dang impressive to me.

as for game performance I can play any game i want maxed in drivers and game quality 85 FPS to 192 FPS . Never once does it touch the 60 FPS mark.

here is Fear performance test And we all know Fear was made for 7800 class in SLI . My 2 7800 GT OC in SLI was about 87% slower then this at these setings lol.
Core 750 Mhz memory 1800 Mhz 100% stable in all games.

here is Fear benchmark test with these setings.

Driver settings are

aa set to 6x
Adaptive aa set to quality
AF 16x with high quality AF on
AI set to advanced
mip map detail set to high quality

Game set to

PC - maximum
graphics - maximum
1600x1200

2 7800 gt oc in SLI 492 1.22 max seatings in drivers and game I got 10 FPS to 40 FPS max average of 33 FPS.

now before you say there only 7800 gt,s Nvidias 3rd best card crap. look at the overclock. there ruining at 7800 GTX speeds. My benchmarks showed it to lol. I was even beating some 7800 GTx SLI scores. Look back at forum wars and you will see what i mean.
