Advice on building a custom computer

Since the memory controller operates at the same speed as the CPU, memory efficiency increases as CPU MHz goes up. Also, the memory speed is always divided from the memory controller, so using a divider will not effect performance outside of the actual MHz difference.

I would just ask your parents and other relatives for money for Christmas and/or your birthday. Also, maybe you can do work at your house? My parents used to pay me $30 just for mowing the lawn.

Also, after you have all the money you need I woul re-post the parts you chose. Newer parts some out all the time and pric change so there may be something better to get down the line.

I don't usually get as much money around the Christmas season/birthday season because my birthday is Dec. 17. They combine two gifts into one.

I would do more work around the house, but now it is getting colder, and there is no more really paying work left.

I am going to see if I can start getting my mom to pay me for good grades again. :)

Man the pressures of been a teen again, I wish the only financial worries I had was where I was gonna get the cash for a PAIR OF 7800's.

Same here. Good grades are expected of me, so I don't really get money, unless I score really high in a really hard class.
