I get paid for mowing the yard because they know I expect it.  I mow a local cemetary in the summer so they know that they cannot get it for free.

I just aced a test in my keyboarding class so I should get a bit of money for that.  It was hard, had to have over 30 GWAM(gross words a minute), less than 1 mistake, and no more than 15 backspaces.  If you got more than 1 mistake, you fail.

I had that in 8th grade. I passed with 90wpm, no errors, and the program won't let you backspace.

However, my highest ever was 222wpm on a passage. Hard to believe, but I do have screenshots (they got deleted from my school account at the end of the year), but I do have 2 friends who saw it and can confirm it.

Same here. Good grades are expected of me, so I don't really get money, unless I score really high in a really hard class.

Me either. I haven't got anything under an A in high school yet.  B)

MCdonalds will hire 14 and up. My friend made like $130 playing his trumpet at some corner at seattle.

Well, I mow 5 lawns in the summer, but don't get paid for doing ours at home.

222WMP????  That is insane.  And 90wpm with no errors?  Man, you are good.

Heh, didn't think people would believe it that easily. 1/2 the kids in school were in denial (even after watching me) until I showed them the screenshot, and after 8th grade (when all my files were deleted off the server), I had them asking my 2 friends who saw it.

Crap! Then I guess I can beat the world record. By the way, 222wpm was for one line each. I did like 5 lines consecutively. I doubt I could type that fast for 57 minutes STRAIGHT.

I'll see if I can bring one of my friends from school to post here to confirm my typing speed.

Yeah, I'd like to hear that.  But then again, how will we know it's your friend and not you?  I know you wouldn't do that, but do you see what I mean?

You can ask someone else to confirm that our IP addresses aren't the same?...

Yeah, good point.  But, you could spoof an address.
I know you wouldn't, but I'm just saying, don't be suprised if someone suggests that you did.

No offense, but I personally do not find that exactly truthful.  If you can get someone on here and prove that it's not you, then I will find it a bit easier to believe.

I got 80 wpm, no errors, and 2 backspaces on my test.

What program did you use?
