where to put a speaker system?

LOL! I was going to re design it to your standards a Chair a Table with lots of gear on and a monitor and all speakers near your ears LOL!!!

i use the 5.1 pro logic 2 with my 23 inch HDTV LCD monitor TV combo with direct TV hooked to it. Lots of fun.

Not had the pleasure of looking at a HDTV, how are they PCGEEK?

there clear as heck with no pixels showing. Very clear and sharp and ultra brite. Very big.

I have an Audigy 2 ZS.

5.1 is plenty for mst things. I kind of dislike my 7.1 because its soooo hard to place the speakers. One is always in the way of where you want to walk.

I think Outrage has the best image. :)

I bring it ghetto style with 2 junky stereo speakers on the top left and right shelf of my desk.

For my console gaming setup I have plain stereo and bean bag chairs.

When xbox 360 comes out I'm currently working my butt off to get cash for a tv, xbox and a 5.1 surround sound but maybe 7.1.
