You know what it is. I have learned that when over clocking not every board works. Some boards are just not well made. I think every board will over clock but some are buggy and cant handle it.

Yes, I agree.

Via's chipset seems to be stable, but lacks higher VCore.
I think they all lack high Vcore for S 939.

Via ... I've somehow never trusted that brand... maybe I'm misinformed.

Microsoft shift to IBM could be purely business move... think about it... IBM bid the lowes and beat intel to it.... same with ATI??... maybe not...I guess microsoft sees more promise in ATI.

Well, Microsoft is working with IBM & ATI for there X-Box 2.
X-Box 1 was with Intel & NVidia.  It seems that IBM has there hand everywhere. :)

I know what you mean, but it looks like Xbox & PS2's are taking the market slowly. As long as PC Graphic's stay on top of things, the console gaming will never take over. :)

Well, and I have to agree with you. But the Underdog's are NVIDIA & AMD IMO.

ATI has been around for a long time & are well respected. Let's just say that ATI plays the roll of Intel where as NVIDIA plays the role of AMD.  :)

But I have to say that ATI's architecture in my opinion has been better than NVIDIA's from the start. NVIDIA has stepped up & are doing quite well though.

NVIDIA is also releasing a newer core to compete with ATI's R520. This will be great competition. GO ATI  ;)
