I cant wait for the match tommarow.

England v Trinidad and Tobago it should be a really good game, Now apparently, not meaning to upset our german members in anyway, the location where England Supporters without tickets to the match are converging is apperantly the site where Hitler held some of his rallys, the location is just outside Nuremberg. Enjoy the match, and lets hope England do well and do better that they did against Paraguay.

Hope it will be a good match...

Conditions are also likely to be tough, with the temperature possibly reaching 28C despite the match kicking off in the early evening.

If England beat Trinidad & Tobago they will be certain of a place in the second round. If England win and the later match between Sweden and Paraguay is drawn, England will be the winners of Group B.

Eriksson said that Michael Owen is likely to start in attack alongside Peter Crouch for England's second Group B match but his biggest selection poser is over the participation of Rooney.

This will be the first international between England and Trinidad & Tobago.

England have won every match that Peter Crouch has appeared in, while they've won 10 and drawn one of the last 11 matches in which Wayne Rooney has not played.

England supporters were in full voice, and the national anthem.
The tinidad goal was offside at the end of the match.
After a goalless first half, England went into the lead thanks to a header from Peter Crouch in the 83rd minute. Steven Gerrard scored the second goal in the 90th minute.
2-0

The USA don't really do well in the World Cup; or Football (soccer) to that matter

Jun 12 - Final score
Czech Republic   3
United States   0

The FIFA Women's World Cup is the most important championship in international football competition for women. Organised by FIFA, the sport's largest global governing body, the first Women's World Cup tournament was held in 1991, 61 years after the men's. The inaugural tournament was hosted in China, with 12 teams sent to represent their countries. Over 650,000 spectators attended the FIFA Women's World Cup 1999 and nearly 1 billion viewers from 70 countries tuned in. By the FIFA Women's World Cup 2003, 16 teams competed in the championship finals.

The USA are now bottom in their Group. There women's team is not bad - better than their men's. Qualification for the WC is stupid - countries only play nearby, neighbouring countries (so the USA, with 300 million people, always qualifies because they are against Jamaica and Cuba, and other small countries).

Which is highly unusual, considering that all their schools play 'soccer', and their population is only a tiny bit smaller than all of the EU.

Switzerland just beat Togo 2-0, they are not doing too bad this year - perhaps best in their group I reckon. Their team has improved alot since the Euro.

Scotland did not qualify (no surprise there). Therefore I will be supporting the USA. I mean Brazil (after Brazil, I support the Czech Republic).
