Not really a problem but more a question:
I'm about to buy a new computer, but I have no idea were I need to take a look at when I buy 1.
For example is your RAM important?
So what is all important for a good and fast computer?

I'm looking for a computer on the internet, but what is the best dutch site to look at? I was tinking Mediamarkt is cheap and good?

pfft, it just depends on what you're going to do with it. Are you going to play games much, graphic design, ... or just 'work' or 'school'.

Strict minimums:

Ram: 1 gig
CPU: 3 Ghz
HD: 100 gig
VideoMemory: 128 mb
USBports: 4
Firewire: 1
DVDwriter (dual layer)
Soundcart: 5.1
Lanport
... that are the thing I can think of at this moment:p

grtz...

if your going for an extreme game comp idd go for

2G ram
256M vid memory at least
processor the higher the better

but it all depends on your budget
theres a pretty cheap yet reliable shop in Hoevenen that also configures pc's
Code:
http://www.sysar.be/home.htm?systems

Looks nice to me, altough, with that videomemory, I'd put 2 gig ram in the PC:p
But yeah, if your budget is 550, and you can buy this with it, it's a very good PC:D

Now the price, are you picking it up or let them send you. Both are good, have bad experience with mediamarkt, so to get revenge on them, I say go for the sysar. Basically both have almost the same qualities.

Lol idd , ty for the unlocking Compu ^^
So, I went for that sysar's one, but the guy in the shop said this isn't a game computer at all (you can't really not play games like css f.e.)
Now someone told me that VandenBorre would be a good place to buy a computer because they have good computers and they are cheap. But someone else told me I better go to Van Havere (Cyberdrome Place).
Which shop would you recommend me?

Ok lol my maximum budjet was 500€, but because you haven't had much choice with that budjet my maximum budjet is now 700€!

I have 2 Pc's from Van Haveren which I want to ask you if there are good.

2nd Pc:
PC: Pavilion s3030.be
Code:

Speed Cache: 1.86Ghz/2MB cache
FSB: 800Mhz
RAM: 1024MB DDR2 (533Mhz)
HDD: 250 GB (7200rpm) SATA

Then the Pc's of vanDenBorre:

well, again the question 'how do they count the processor with a dual core'. It says
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E4300
Speed/cache: 1.86Ghz / 2MB L2 Cache
, so, is the total Speed 1,86 Ghz (which would be veeeery low) or is each core 1,86 Ghz (which gives a total of 3.72, and that's nice:D)

grtz...
